How do you feel about the box that you are in?
Is it too small for you to grow? Are you comfortable and a don’t want to leave? Are you playing around in your box like a little kid, or maybe a kitten?
It’s time for you to grow bigger than the box others have put you in!
Quoting Vex King - “ If you seek growth, be ready for the discomfort of becoming bigger than the box they put you in.”
In my growth mindset class I talk about
The importance of having a positive mindset to reach your goals
Not allowing fear to hold you back
Starting your day with positive affirmations (your Morning Mindset)
Thinking about “the best that can happen” (from Michele Polar) and not the worst that can happen.
I have always believed that “success is possible for anyone who is willing to find their way & brave enough to take a leap”. Now it is your turn to GROW bigger than your box and take that leap to reach for your dreams and success!
Here are some tips to help you start. Instead of SMART goals that you may have heard of, let’s think of Growth G O A L s. I love acronyms, so I’ve created one for GOAL, and I hope it will help and inspire you.
G O A L stands for Growth - Opportunity - Action - Learning
Let’s start with…
G for Growth
Where and how do you want to grow? What heights or levels do you want to get to and why?
O for Opportunity
Look at how you want to achieve it. Who can help you? How can you find help? (Courses, Mentor, Practice, Coach)
A for Action
What steps will you take? Start small and reverse engineer your path.
L for Learning
Reassess and see what you learn on the way to your goal. How can you pivot, learn & grow? Do you still have the same goal?
When you look at your goals and take these steps, you are forming a base and foundation to hold you up while you GROW towards your goals. Remember to always go back to your why and that nothing happens until you take action.
So, what is your first action step? What is your pivot if something changes?
This is an ongoing process and a unique way to look at your goals. Overall, your goal should be to KEEP GROWING - whatever growth means for you. It's a good rule of thumb to look at your goals quarterly, yearly or even monthly if that works for you! Remember, they are your goals and no one else can make them or give you a timeline for reaching them. YOU are the one who is in charge of your growth!
I would love to hear about your goals and achievements!
If you want to work with a community of like minded people who want to grow in their business and life, I invite you to check out our membership and community - The Growth Project. We would love to have you :) !
I can’t wait to see you find the growth and success that you are meant to have.
